After the release of Angry Birds Star Wars II in December 2014, Rovio Entertainment began working on a new project: the mobile version of Angry Birds Friends. The new game follows the premise of the original, where a group of birds go to stop the pigs from stealing their eggs. However, this time around, the birds are friends.
Since this is a mobile game, Android and iOS are the only two platforms that you can get Angry Birds Friends. Rovio has released the first version of the app for iOS devices back in November 2014, and the Android version followed in March 2015. The Android version has been updated twice since then.
In terms of features, Angry Birds Friends is very similar to the original game. The five birds are on a quest to rescue their eggs from the pigs, and, of course, there are also pigs to destroy. In Angry Birds Friends, however, the levels are a bit different than those in the original game.
For one thing, the level itself has been altered a bit, where the stage has the appearance of a house and there are multiple obstacles. In order to get to the eggs, the birds need to destroy the crates that are blocking their way.
